COCOA BUTTER

Cocoa butter is obtained by pressing cocoa beans or by pressing pre-treated, ground and heated liquid cocoa mass. Finally, the cocoa butter obtained is refined. The press residue is transformed into cocoa powder, which is used as a raw material for products such as chocolate. Evergreen cocoa trees can grow up to 15 metres high and live up to 60 years.
